A couple of years ago a friend roped me into volunteering for an adult literacy program. I failed miserably at it, because I just couldn't wrap my mind around the fact that a grown person couldn't read. I taught my two kids how to read, but I just had no patience…

Auntiecanuck: Here's the Competition — Well, at least they are trying to practice their English and/or share some learning tips. I eke out a living now taking in international students here to study English (for the most part - some are doing post-secondary studies). I get lots of laughs here at the mangling of English....[image]
